About the author:
  • Shaykh Hammad Fahim has a great passion for studying and teaching Quranic subjects, with a special focus on tadabbur (reflecting upon the Quran). He is a graduate of the prestigious Al-Azhar University in the Faculty of Shariah (Egypt) with a BA (Hons) degree in Islamic Jurisprudence and has ijazah (classical certification) in several Qirat, including Hafs, Warsh and Hamzah. He holds a diploma in Arabic Language, and has studied Shariah at the Institut Européen des Sciences (France). Fahim is an Executive Committee member of the British Academy of Qur’anic Studies (BAQS) and a trustee of the European Academy of Quran Studies. He is also a qualified lawyer specializing in Civil Law and is a High-Court Advocate.
