يَوَدُّ

ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ

لَوۡ

يَفۡتَدِي

مِنۡ

عَذَابِ

يَوۡمِئِذِۭ

بِبَنِيهِ

˹although˺ they will be made to see each other. The wicked will wish to ransom themselves from the punishment of that Day by their children,
